How to Apply for a Summer or Short-term Program
The general requirements for being accepted to a summer program are the following:
—2.5 GPA or higher
—No disciplinary or academic holds
Each program will have further requirements; for example, students applying to a particular summer program must meet the course prerequisites of the courses offered on that program.
To apply, either visit Academic Programs Abroad to pick up a summer programs application or download the application, fill it out, and turn it in to Academic Programs Abroad.
A deposit of $500 is charged to your LSU fee bill once the application is received. This $500 is applied toward your program fee and is refundable until January 31, 2012. After January 31, the fee is nonrefundable. Please read the summer programs application carefully regarding withdrawal dates and penalties. The application deadline is March 16, 2012.
