Peer Advisors

Peer advisors are the most valuable members of the Academic Programs Abroad staff. Many of them have studied abroad or on exchange and are able to give interested students valuable advice. Of course, not every single one of them has gone on exchange; that's not a requirement, but the job does draw those who've experienced an exchange or studied abroad.

If you are a current student and would like to become a peer advisor, click here to download the application, fill it in, and turn it in to Liz Dunn, 103 Hatcher Hall.

Below are our current peer advisors:

Alaina plans to study abroad, but she's keeping her options open right now.

Aimee went to Ubaye Valley with LSU in the French Alps during summer 2009.

Chris went to Tanzania with LSU's Swahili Safari during summer 2008.

Christina, our Graduate Assistant, is an international student from Germany seeking a Ph.D. in Communication Disorders.

Blake plans to study in France.

Jay studied abroad in the Netherlands.

Kelly is here on a national exchange from University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.

Robert plans to study in either Australia or Germany.
