Information for Returning Students

Within the first month of each semester that you are abroad, the international coordinator will remind you to send in your course enrollment verification form. On that form, you should list the courses you are taking, along with the host institution's credit or point value for each course. After you've completed filling out the form, your host university coordinator should sign it. The form must then be sent back, whether by fax or mail. It can be faxed to Rachel Daroca's attention at 225-578-6806. It can be mailed to Rachel Daroca's attention at Academic Programs Abroad, 103 Hatcher Hall, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA 70803.

You are also responsible for sending in an official transcript for the academic work done at the end of each semester you are on exchange. At the end of your exchange, it is especially important that you make arrangements to send your transcript back before you leave your exchange country. Official transcripts should be sent to the attention of Karen McClelland, Admissions, 1146 Pleasant Hall, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA 70803.

Returning students who took classes while on exchange that they did not get approval for on their P.A.C.E. forms before leaving must fill out new P.A.C.E. forms upon returning. If a student does not, none of his or her academic work while on exchange will be put on his or her record, resulting in the loss of TOPS and a negative impact on the student's academic record.
