From Boston to Belgium, Academic Programs Abroad can help you make your travel dreams happen while you earn course credit!
You can study in the U.S. or around the globe, no matter your language experience, and the cost is often the same as your LSU tuition. You can use TOPS or other financial aid to pay for studying away for a summer, semester, or even a year. Broaden your horizons and gain exposure to new cultures firsthand. You will gain independence, cultural sensitivity, and resourcefulness.
Aside from personal enrichment, a student with international experience can work in a multi-cultural environment and deal with unfamiliar situations and as a result, has an advantage over peers with no international experience. Since only 2% of students in the U.S. study abroad, earning credit on a study abroad program will make your résumé or graduate school application stand out.
