Information for Outgoing NSE Students

Once you've been placed, the first step is to sign your Placement Acceptance Form. If you are placed at the yearly conference, you'll stop by the NSE coordinator's office and sign your Placement Acceptance Form in early March.

Then, you'll attend an outgoing orientation/concurrent enrollment meeting, also in March. Your coordinator will tell you the date, time, and location. At this meeting, you'll find out more information on how the classes you take at your host university transfer back to LSU. You'll also meet any other students who are exchanging to the same university that you are.

The coordinator at your host university will contact you, either through email or by post, with what you need to do regarding scheduling courses, getting housing, etc.

During your time away, you will receive an enrollment verification form to fill out and return to the NSE coordinator at LSU.

At the end of each semester of your exchange, it is your responsibility to have an official transcript sent to the NSE coordinator, who will forward it to Admissions. Have transcripts sent to Dawn Humble, NSE Coordinator, Academic Programs Abroad, 103 Hatcher Hall, Baton Rouge, LA 70803.
