• 2.5 overall GPA or better
  
  
• at least 30 semester hours of credit before departure

• Eligible students complete an application process and secure an LSU faculty recommendation that is sent to the NSE coodinator (email her at nse@lsu.edu for more info).  After approval of the NSE Coordinator, students must be accepted by a host NSE school, most of which have some limitations on the number of incoming students they can accept. Students usually list five choices of schools, although most get their first or second choice. There is no guarantee that you will get your first choice of schools.
